Biography

 Dr. K.N. Prasad earned a Master’s degree in Zoology from the University of Bihar and a Ph.D. in Radiation Biology from the University of Iowa. He subsequently completed postdoctoral training in Parkinson’s disease research at Brookhaven National Laboratory. 

 Dr. Prasad later served as Professor and Director of the Center for Vitamins and Cancer Research at the University of Colorado School of Medicine. Over the course of his distinguished career, he has authored and co-authored more than 250 peer-reviewed scientific publications, including research published in Nature, Science, and the Proceedings of the National Academy of Sciences (PNAS). He has also written or edited 33 books covering topics including radiobiology, neurodegenerative diseases, nutrition, and cancer. 

 Throughout his career, Dr. Prasad has been actively involved in leading scientific organizations, including the American Association for Cancer Research, and has presented his research at major scientific conferences around the world. 

 Dr. Prasad currently resides on the West Coast with his family, where he continues to conduct research and present his work in emerging areas of science.
