Biography

Dr. Prasad earned a master’s in Zoology from the University of Bihar and a Ph.D. in Radiation Biology from the University of Iowa, followed by postdoctoral training on Parkinson’s disease at Brookhaven National Laboratory. He later became Professor and Director of the Center for Vitamins and Cancer Research at the University of Colorado School of Medicine. 

Over his distinguished career, Dr. Prasad has authored over 250 peer-reviewed papers—including in Nature, Science, and PNAS—and written or edited 33 books on radiobiology, neurodegenerative disease, nutrition, and cancer. He’s been active in organizations like the American Association for Cancer Research and regularly presented at major scientific conferences worldwide.
